On the occasion of Diwali, Yasagam Foundation extended its heartfelt support to 45 leprosy-affected families living in Thalaivasal. This thoughtful initiative aimed to bring joy and relief to families who have long battled the challenges of leprosy.

Most of these individuals are above 60 years of age and have suffered severe consequences of the disease, including the loss of arms, legs, or vision. Understanding their struggles, Yasagam Foundation volunteers collected grocery items from kind-hearted donors and personally distributed the kits to each family.

The event was filled with smiles, gratitude, and emotional moments as the families received the essentials with happiness and hope. The Foundation’s effort brought light into the lives of these often-forgotten individuals during the festival of lights. A sincere thank you to all the donors whose generous contributions made this noble cause possible.
